Out Yonder, We Shoot Guns

It's funny what grandparents do when a grandchild comes into the picture. For instance, my parents bought a house in AL...about 30 minutes from us.

This is not their house.

Just notice the "additions" though. Notice the trailers to the left and the one on the right, behind the tree. I imagine the owners of this house are grandparents and they just invited their children and their children's children to "add on" and move in!

Anyway, it has been great having them nearby (even if it's only a couple weekends a month).

Sam and I hung out over there today.

The highlight of the day was our walk to Sunshine Farm. We met the owner, toured the barn and lodge house and saw their 2 guard dogs (Grand Pyrenees puppies), 5 Al Pacas and 2 horses. It was a beautiful day and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The owner is a really nice man and his land and ALL the structures are REALLY REALLY nice. Think Extreme Home Makeover.

I think we'll both sleep well tonight!
