Sam is two.

Even though I'm with him every day and see how many new things he's learning and how much he is changing, I can't believe he is two. Two?! Seriously.

Sam,
You crack us up. You are becoming more and more independent. You are so expressive. You quote stuff from Barney all the time - and we usually don't know that's where it came from until we happen to see it on an epsisode. You are quick, sometimes sneaky, sweet and strong. You love vehicles, of any kind, especially construction vehicles.

You love your little brother and it warms my heart to see you two together. It's a feeling I wasn't really expecting. It's like, I know one day you guys will kind of gang up on me and dad, talk about us and know exactly what the other one means...and I'm ok with that. It's been one of the greatest things for me about having sisters. Just be kind. We love you more than you'll ever know.

You have big feet, just like your dad. You sleep great and even head upstairs by yourself for your nap (thank you). You're busy, curious and funny. We're so glad to have had you for the past two years.

We love you so much.
