Adult Food

What you'll find here is a list of food I would not eat as a child. I now really like all of it.

bell peppers - any color
cream cheese
sour cream
pepper jelly
almonds

You got any?

Avacados/guacamole. I hated them as a kid, and now, really, they could be my entire diet.

Nuts are on the list for me, too, but I still won't eat them in desserts.

It's been fun to read your blog this week. I think starting Jan 1, I'll be blogging every day for the month. I've just been in a slump...and taking 2 hour naps every afternoon has just used up all my extra time these days. Oh, Babies....

green beans, cheese cake, broccoli. i still won't eat other beans like black beans or pinto beans or black eyed peas - unless they're mixed with a casserole.

i wouldnt eat pizza as a kid...

yes, you read that correctly. pizza.

weird kid, I was.

I did get over my aversion by the time i was in middle school...but still. my mom always had to stop my mcdonalds or hardees if we were invited to a chuck e cheese birthday party!

never tried until i was an adult:
guacamole
stuffing/dressing
asparagus (my mom gave us canned one time...that shouldn't count, but it would explain why i didn't give it a fair try until adulthood.)

I love all those foods now. Strike that. I love ALL foods. I'm quite surprised at the amount of child cheese cake haters out there. I had no idea. My kids LOVE it. Of course, at least one of my kids loves guacamole, California rolls and likes "whatever you have to offer" on his sandwiches.
