Pomp & Circumstance

According to my husband, that's what the State of the Union address is all about.

Watched it tonight...decided he's right.

You know, I'm gonna miss Pres. Bush. He's cute. And I mean cute in a cheesy joke kind of way. I think he sort of reminds me of my dad in that way. You know, they crack a cheesy joke and then, as if no one else were in the room, laugh about it. It's just cute. He seems like a real person. Unlike many other politicians (in my opinion). Not to mention, I agree with most of his moral stances.

I still have NO IDEA who I'll be voting for this year. It doesn't seem, at the moment, that there is a GOOD choice. So, I'll skip any talk about that and just say this, I'll miss George W. Faults and all, I'm thankful he's been the President of our country for the past 7+ years. I can only imagine he is anxious to be relieved of the duties this difficult job entails.

Go Bush!

Cute...that's good. I like that. He's President Cheese. He seems like a dumb country boy sometimes, but the man's got convictions. No doubt about that.

I think he reminds me more of a cheesy uncle than a dad though...the uncle that wants everybody to like him...maybe Cousin Eddie even. But still...those convictions.

Not uncle eddie. Cousin eddie, from NL Vacation, and Christmas Vacation, and Vegas Vacation. You know. Cousin Eddie. Eddie Bush.

your blog is well written. I came across it this evening. I, however, cannot wait to see GW leave. He's been an international embarrassment and a national tragedy. I'm looking forward for some new blood and new ideas.

International embarrassment and national tragedy? Hmm. I disagree. He hasn't been the greatest President, but I would say defending the US from terrorism and moving toward the reversal of Roe v Wade (which has resulted in the murder of 48 million babies in the US since 1973) are good things. He's just a more intelligent Cousin Eddie...with convictions. And who has been more entertaining during the State of the Union address?
