We had a great time! I think alone time for husbands and wives is so important, albeit difficult due to time, finances and many other obstacles that find their way into our lives. The payoff, I believe, far outweighs the costs.The weather was wonderful too. It was warm with a cool breeze and it even rained a little bit, but it was a cold rain that felt great on a hike. We ate lunch on some rocks in the woods, walked along a really pretty creek, saw some falls, walked out to a beautiful lookout and ended up at the B&B.
The B&B was great, although the owner was a strange little man.... Anyway, it was so nice to have a little break from the responsibility of watching Sam but even more, it was awesome to spend some uninterrupted time with Bob. I've got a good one :).
Back on the homefront, Mom and Dad had a blast with Sam and he, apparently, was a little angel.
We'll have to do it again soon!

Yay for honeymooning! It's the thing to do this weekend! I'm glad y'all got away on your first trip. It really is sooo valuable to spend time with just each other!
