So after the long wait yesterday, the AC tech finally showed up around 6:40 p.m., stayed for about 7 minutes and pronounced that we need a new unit upstairs.
Praise the Lord! (Because we still have a home warranty).
Hopefully the replacement won't be a nightmare in and of itself....
