Who Buys Hand-Me-Downs?

Kids' clothes are expensive. You already know this.

I refuse to pay more for my kids' clothes than I pay for my own, especially when the material is a quarter of the size!

My answer to this dilemma is consignment sale shopping and Kid's Market is just about the only one I go to.

At the end of the sale, they have 2 days where most everything is 50%.* I just got back. After spending $46.34 (including tax), I got all of this...

Oh Kid's Market, how I enjoy thee.

*If you contribute to the sale, you get to shop early. I contributed this year so I also went one of the first days and got about the same amount of stuff (but spent a tad more). Don't have a picture of that and it is already integrated into the closets.

Me! Me! Me!

This was the first year in a long time that I didn't contribute, but someone gave me a Saturday ticket so that was a major score. I love contributing because I forget about it and get a $40 or so check a few weeks later.

Next fall I'm definitely going to hit up the 50% off days. I've never done that...

And, I love how you dress your boys, btw. I want to be like you :)

Wow, you did awesome! I did not make it this year. I just didn't have it in me. I have gotten some deals in the past though. I wish I could get it together enough to contribute. Maybe next year...:)

YES! I love Kids' Market! I won't pay full price for baby clothes at all anymore. Love those deals!

Awesome haul! I didn't make it this year. I feel slightly guilty.

It's even better if you work :). I split the 20 hours with my hubby. He's cool like that. Of course, it was slightly miserable this time since I had a one week old when I shopped, but so worth the money we save and the great clothes I find.
