And So I Give Myself Myself a Big, Fat "I Told You So"

My little sister, Julie, was gone all summer...working at a ranch in Colorado. She got back on Thursday so the boys and I rode over to Alanta, with Mom, to meet Julie at the airport.

On the way back, we stopped by The Varsity. Honestly, I've been thinking about eating there for quite a few months. I'd been planning to go the next time I was in Atlanta. So, we did.

Mom and both got a chili slaw dog, an F. O. and onion rings. You know what? While I thoroughly enjoyed my food, I don't think the slaw, onions or grease sat very well on Grey's little tummy. It's pretty common for cabbage and onions to give infants gas. I started thinking about that when I was about halfway through my nasty, delicious lunch.

It's a good thing the food was so good. It would've been a shame for that poor little guy to be screaming and in such pain for no reason at all.

I would put up a poll asking, "Am I a horrible mother?", but I'm pretty sure what the answer would be, at least concerning this particular issue.

Not even close to a horrible mother. :) And on a positive note, it sounds like breastfeeding is going great!

haha. the list of things i'm not eating right now is so long it's not even funny. it's so hard to see something on a plate and say, "don't do it. don't do it. don't do it."
